Lord of Life Lutheran Church surrounds its members with support when a loved one dies. We lift up God’s promise of the resurrection to eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. We pray that the family will feel God’s love and support through their friends at Lord of Life Lutheran Church.
A funeral may be held at the church or at a funeral home, depending on the family’s preferences. Normally, the family or the funeral home handling such matters on the family’s behalf, will contact the Pastor of Lord of Life Church to schedule a funeral.
Often, families will request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Memorial Fund of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in memory of their loved one. This is a wonderful way to honor someone’s memory, as the Memorial Fund is used to further Lord of Life Church’s mission by the purchase of lasting ministry tools.
